Introduction
The Trail Pacific is a trail running event held annually in Vanuatu, organized by a non-profit organization. Participation fees contribute to covering costs for T-shirts and other organizational expenses. Additionally, the event relies on various sponsors to fully finance its operations, and it relies on many volunteers to ensure security and smooth operations throughout the day. We highly appreciate the involvement of our runners and aim to deliver an outstanding experience. In our commitment to transparency and equity, we have developed this Refund Policy to clarify our procedures for event registration refunds.

Registration Fee Refunds
2.1. Refund Eligibility
- Registration fees are eligible for a refund under the following circumstances:
- Cancellation of the event by Le Trail Pacific without a replacement date.
- In the case of a participant being unable to attend due to extenuating circumstances such as medical emergencies or unforeseen personal obligations.
2.2. Cancellation by Le Trail Pacific
In the event that Le Trail Pacific cancels the event for any reason and cannot offer a replacement date, participants will be offered the following options:
- A full refund of the registration fee.
- If due to weather conditions, you will be refunded 50% of the total registration fee.
- The option to transfer their registration to the next scheduled event.
2.3. Participant Withdrawal
If a participant wishes to withdraw from the event, they will be eligible for a T-Shirt and NOT a refund.

Transfer of Registration
If a participant is unable to attend the event but wishes to transfer their registration to another individual, they must notify Le Trail Pacific via email at least 15 days before the event. Transfer requests must include the full details of the new participant.

Modifications to the Refund Policy
Le Trail Pacific reserves the right to make changes or modifications to this Refund Policy at its discretion. Any such changes will be communicated to participants through the event website and email notifications.
